This page is about my oldest daughter, Shannon. I've included some pictures taken through the years. Not as many as I'd like to but some of my favorites. I want to say how proud I am of the woman my daughter has grown up to be. She's very special to me and many others. Her Nannie and Papa loved her very much and would be very proud of her today. I know I am. I couldn't have survived without her in more ways than one. She's helped me through the last year since my Mom passed away and I hope I've been able to help her as much. She's a wife, homemaker, wonderful mother, good sister, devoted daughter and handles a career outside the home. She's an inspiration to me and holds a special place in my heart.

And that's what Shannon and I have become, we've always been mother and daughter and now I feel we are the best of "friends". We've grown even closer in the last year and I'm very happy about that. I value her honesty, outspoken ways, her opinions and her ambition. I love that she's such a good mother to Zachary and has more patience than I ever thought possible. She has been there for me through the good and the bad. We have a special, honest and loving relationship that I value more than anything. I love you Shannon.
